I started at my first high end salon November of 2001. I worked for many talented stylists and learned so much from them. By the time I began taking my own clients a couple years later I felt fairly confident in my skills, but knew I would never stop learning.
Education is very important to me. My clients invest in me, so I should be investing in myself. I have attended Vidal Sassoon in Toronto, as well as numerous Davines Hair Tours in Italy, France and Spain. I have taken classes by renowned Educators from California, New York, Utah and continue to go to any classes I can get my hands on. In 2009 I became Great Lengths certified and am obsessed with the transformation I am able to give people using these beautiful extensions.
Even after so many years of being in this career, it always feels exciting to me. The trends are ever changing and there is always something new to learn and challenge me. I have the most amazing clients. Some who have been with me for almost my entire career and some that I'm just getting to know.
The biggest reason I love what I do so much is the ability to make someone feel beautiful and give them this amazing confidence as they strut out the door. It seriously fills me up to make people feel like that.
I firmly believe my skills as a stylist are sharpened by the people around me. This is why we wanted to create a space where stylists can be their own boss, and still be in a team atmosphere.

Being a hairstylist & makeup artist has always been something that has come naturally to me. My love for hair and creativity started at a very young age. I competed in Skills Canada 2006 while attending cosmetology in high school. I worked for many years in the beauty industry that didn’t include behind the chair. During this time I had the opportunity to travel to Italy for the Artego Global Hair Show. While attending I was a part of a full day prepping models for an International Photoshoot. This day forever changed my life. Being in a room surrounded by talented and creative stylist from around the world I knew from that moment this was my purpose and I have never looked back.
Since graduating from MC College in 2016 I have had the opportunity to work on set for multiple short films, work alongside local photographers for published photoshoots, fashion shows, documentaries and much more. I believe it is very important to continue taking as much education and classes as I can to ensure I am staying current and fresh with the latest trends and techniques. I truly love what I do and to me it’s not only about making a person look good but feel good! Knowing I can make someone's day by giving them a new look that suits their personality and lifestyle is so rewarding. Although I've always enjoyed getting my hair done growing up & all the other girly stuff, I never saw myself doing hair for a living. It was fate & a little bit of luck that helped me find my calling! Straight after high school, I was not interested in going to university - frankly, I just wasn't any good at school. That's when my dad suggested I attend hair school, JUST TO TRY. Just to do something. & so I did. He was my model for my very first haircut & that one haircut, changed my life. I actually enjoyed it, but not only that, I was actually kinda good at it! Haha. Since then, I've taken that and RAN. For the first time in my life, I've actually found something I'm good at & that I can call mine.
Thank YOU, for allowing me to continue to learn - both as a stylist and as a person, to grow - make mistakes but always striving to do better, & improve - because there is ALWAYS room for improvement. I couldn't have done this without you guys. Insert tear emoji

I absolutely love being a Hairstylist,
There is nothing more rewarding than making people look and feel their absolute best. I have been in the industry for over 16 years, but my passion is rooted back to my childhood. Continuing my education is very important to me. I love keeping up with the latest trends and techniques. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel for hair education including the world Davines tour in Miami and to the Aveda Hair Academy in New York City.

Hi! I’m Sarah and I’ve been doing hair since 2013. I worked in a commission salon for just over 3 years before venturing out on my own and renting a chair. I’ve learned so much in the years following that. Many ups, and a few downs, but met amazing people and clients along the way. I now work both in salon and at home, creating the perfect balance of bustling salon environment and quiet one on one experiences.
People often say “it’s just hair”, but to me, it’s everything. It’s creative and beautiful. It’s sharing stories and tips. It’s styling and changing and being ourselves. It’s learning about people’s lives and being there for them.
I love my job because I love seeing people transform into who they want to be. Seeing the confidence come back or the relaxation begin.
I also love to learn! In an industry that is ever changing, I’m always trying to keep up with the trends, learn new skills and share that with others. I love the sense of community we have and the friendships we’re building along the way.

Raveena has been in the industry doing both hair and makeup collectively for 9 years. She loves creating looks for her clients to fit their lifestyle. Raveena specializes in blended, dimensional hair and extension installations. She always makes sure the integrity of your hair comes first. Healthy hair equals beautiful hair! She prides herself on being a well rounded stylist. She wants to make sure she can cater to all client types. Whether that is short hair, long hair, brunettes or blondes, Raveena makes sure she is up to date with the latest styles and trends by often taking advanced education classes. Raveena has also taught educational classes to stylists such as technical and theoretical training with a top brand. I had my heart set on becoming a hairstylist from a very young age and I have loved the salon environment for as long as I can remember. I have been working behind the chair since 2003, and since then, my passion for this industry has grown immensely. I’ve always felt that education is so important in this ever changing career and I love learning. I’ve attended numerous hair shows and classes all over the world including Spain, New York, Nashville, New Orleans, Montreal, and more. I’m always looking for the next course or show to sign up for that inspires me, and it’s a huge bonus if I can travel while I’m at it! In addition to learning, I also love teaching. I’ve worked as an educator for both Bumble and Bumble and Matrix. I feel that helping other stylists and empowering them to be the best they can be is truly important. My goal whenever anyone sits in my chair, is to make them feel like their best version of themselves. Taking my client’s ideas and visions and making them come to life is a huge part of why I love what I do. Whether it’s just giving someone a freshen up, or doing a huge change, I love the excitement and confidence that transforming someone’s hair can give them.

I specialize in Curly hair and am certified in DevaCurl and Hot Head Extensions.

I've been fascinated with the beauty industry from a young age. Growing up, my grandma along with cousins, aunts and uncles were all hairstylists and barbers. I would love tagging along with my mom to her hair appointments. Watching the whole process and being in an energy filled room was always my favorite.
At 15, I started working at a salon and I've been in the industry ever since. I went to hair school when I was 18 and loved every minute of being behind the chair. Since then, I've been obsessed with learning new skills, taking courses, trying new techniques and connecting with my clients. I've been lucky enough to travel all over North America and Europe to continue my education in cutting and coloring hair. I've taken two multi-day Vidal Sassoon precision cutting workshops, as well as many coloring classes taught by our industry's top leaders.
I still get excited to create beautifully curated cuts and colors for every unique client.
My specialities are balayage, foilayage, lived in looks and precision cutting. I also offer Reiki energy work, this offer helps you truly relax and leave our space feeling your very best!
